Welcome To Our Parish Community
We happily offer you this website as a quick-reference of who we are at Saint Ann Parish, Church, and School.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass really begins when you enter the doors of our Church, which are always open to our Sunday faithful and our cherished guests and visitors.
The Eucharist is Jesus' gift, first of all, to the Father, and then for our sake and for all humanity. For our part by attending Mass, we offer ourselves to our loving Father in union with Jesus' gift of Himself. Saint Ann Church has always been so much more than just a 'brick and mortar' building. Since its formation in 1915, it has been a parish of people-a vibrant mix of cultures, races, ages, socioeconomic backgrounds, and lifestyles.
Indeed, the true beauty of Saint Ann Church is not in her physical plant, but in her spiritual people. The Holy Father reminds us that "the Church lives from the Eucharist." Each Mass we celebrate serves the life of Christ, and the life of Christ in the Church, by the power of the Holy Spirit.
What matters most for all of us is to make that step from "Celebrating the Mass" to "Living the Mass"..., because it's from this beautiful mystery that comes the conversion of sinners and the renewal of life. It is our most ardent hope that you come to discover and appreciate the face of Jesus in the faces of your neighbors in the congregation. Jesus describes himself as the "light of the world" (John 8:12).
May we all experience Christ's light, and then shine that light on to one another. Through this mysterious and beautiful light we can all confidently learn of God's infinite mercy, and of his plan for each of us for the salvation of our sacred souls.
May your involvement in each and all of the groups and activities of Saint Ann Church—powered by our active participation in the Celebration of the Eucharist—deepen our ability to recognize Him in Holy Communion.
Jesus' body and blood are truly present in the the bread and in the wine. As we approach Christ himself in Communion, we will be empowered to discover every time we partake of communion how He keeps His promise to be among us until the end of time, and how through that promise we become his disciples to build the kingdom of God here on earth.
Again, we welcome to Saint Ann Church! We are here that together we better discover the fellowship which God wishes to establish with us—and which we ourselves must build with one another. Together we are stronger. Together we cannot fail.
Sincerely yours in the Merciful Lord,
Father Jim Singler
